Java Developer

Job Description:

Nonillion is looking for several Java / J2E software developers who will cooperate in all phases of the development of the Network Management components that our client delivers to his customers.

The Java developer will work in our client's Network Management expert team to analyze, design, implement module-test and integrate reusable components that form the corner-stones of our OSS solutions. He/she will assist in building integrated Network Management functions for Multi-Vendor and Multi-Technology networks, existing of both standard IT network equipment and non-standard equipment. Examples of targeted network types are Ethernet based IP networks, media solutions like DVB-H based Mobile TV and IPTV, etc.

Your activities include the following:

• analyze new features
• design and Implement new features
• module and Integration testing of new features
• follow the Q-guidelines as dictated by our SW development methodology

Necessary Qualifications / Experience:

Preferred experience or knowledge in one or more of the following domains:

• degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification with proven expertise in the field of software design and commercial software development
• expertise in object oriented development in Java
• knowledge of XML technologies and concepts
• knowledge of web technologies (Applets, Javascript, SVG, HTML, CSS)
• knowledge of OS Platforms Windows2k3/XP, Linux and Solaris

Personal Skills:

• fluent Dutch and English, both in spoken and written form
• flexible according to project needs
• to be able to work both in team and self-reliant
• be able to handle external contacts towards customers
• result oriented
