Senior SW Engineer Core Voice
Job Description:
Nonillion is looking for a senior software engineer to develop core Voice components for our client’s gateway product line. Our client is one of the top players in this domain and creates innovative Voice solutions which are deployed into the market globally.
You will participate and be responsible for:-
development of core Voice components for the gateway product line
- Interfaces with the system architect(s) for correct interpretation of the deliverable specifications
- Interfaces with the validation team to quickly resolve reported problems
Necessary Qualifications / Experience:-
Master’s degree in electronics or software engineering or comparable by experience
- At least 3 years of total experience in the field of embedded software, preferably network or telecom oriented
- Programming languages: C/C++, unix shell programming
- Operating System: Linux with gcc/gdb toolchain
- Software concepts: multi-threading, network programming, client-server applications
- VOIP development: SIP, MGCP, H323, VOIP DSP drivers
Knowledge in the following technical areas is an asset:-
Networking: knowledge of data communication concepts and services applicable for TCP/IP stacks - ETH, VLAN, IPv4/v6 Routing, Bridging, HTTP, SOAP, Firewall, NAT, …
- Embedded Web design: HTML, XML, AJAX, EJS
Personal Skills:
- Fluently in English, knowledge of French is a strong asset
- you are able to maintain, communicate and implement the best practises, thanks to your technical background and gained experiences
- you are a role model for and assists junior developers in your team
- you have an innovative drive without neglecting quality of work
