Test Engineer

Job Description:

Nonillion is looking for motivated test engineers to reinforce the team of test experts for one of our customers, who is one of the world's largest network communications companies.

As a key person you will extend the IMC (Instant Messaging & Chat) end-to-end system test team.

Necessary Qualifications / Experience:

Preferred experience or knowledge in one or more of the following domains:

• 2-3 years of experience in System Testing
• Mobile (Data) products (GPRS/UMTS, Presence management, Instant messaging, ...)
• UNIX/LINUX
• scripting: Unix shell scripting, PERL, …
• IP networking (TCP/IP) and server technology (protocols, gateways, routers, firewalls, servers, backbones, RAS, ...)
• IP protocols: UDP, TCP, WV, SOAP, XML / HTML, HTTP(s), FTP, SMPP, UCP, SIP, SNMP
• Oracle or other database concepts
• SUN Solaris or SUN Cluster
• protocol simulators/analysers (Ethereal, IPSL, LDAP, ...)

Personal Skills:

• team player, self organizing
• analytical thinker and a natural problem solver
• minimal 2-3 years experience
• fluent spoken and written in English (and/or Dutch)
